JERZY JARNUSZKIEWICZ
a sculptor
The project dedicated to the Polish sculptor Jerzy Jarnuszkiewicz is another installment of visual activities carried out as part of the Sculptors series. This project is a broad look at the essence of sculptural work through the medium of photography, exploring the relationship between the artist and the three-dimensional forms he creates.

The series includes both photographs that are an attempt to reinterpret and document Jarnuszkiewicz's works, as well as portraits of the artist himself. Each shot has been carefully considered, striving for almost maximum objectivity, both in the perspective on the sculptor's work and in the selection of photographic means.

The dialogue between the portrait and the sculptural form gains particular significance in this series. Jarnuszkiewicz, inspired by, among others, constructivism, used geometric compositions that were characterized by precision, rhythm and harmony. The photographs not only document these sculptures, but also emphasize their relationships with space and with the creator himself. The artist's portraits become a kind of counterpoint to his works – geometric precision of forms meets the personal, human dimension of the creative process. The result is a visual story about shaping matter and thought, where photography reflects both the rigour of constructivist form and the emotional dimension of the act of creation itself.
