IN THE MEANTIME

The IN THE MEANTIME project is the result of contemplating the personal experience of being between events. We function in a reality full of constant layers, extensions and multiplications. They intensify every moment to an impossible scale to experience, creating a situation of permanent lack of time. A phenomenon that is obvious and banal due to its identity with the contemporary world that absorbs us. The moment of creation, coexistence with the described reality, therefore becomes a battlefield, an element torn out of everyday life.

Jolanta Brach-Czaina writes about this phenomenon in a moving and extremely accurate way.

Meanwhile, everyday life slips through the motion of matters that lack a clear shape, definitely separate forms, legible signs. Most often, it attracts attention not during the events, but after some time as something that was - probably was - although we have no evidence left in our hands. The only clue is weariness.
